Smile Inc. – Singapore

Singapore is easy on the eyes: its clean, its safe and its glitzy–yet beneath the shiny surface there is a dark shadow of repression.
This photo essay, shot while I was an exchange student at the National University of Singapore in 2008-2009, shows some of this less-known side of Singaporean society.
